Hi,
We are trying to consolidate the amount of landing pages on our site, is there any way to find landing pages with a particular URL substring which have had 0 traffic?
The minimum which appears in google analytics is 1 visit.

He is trying to consolidate or find the total number of landing pages that do not have any traffic at all. So, screaming frog seo spider can be used to crawl the entire website (with the substring in the URLs) and substitute the URLs that have driven at least 1 visitor. He is not trying to get a hold of his historic or old analytics data. The question is pretty straight forward unless I missed something.

Yes, but how does that help him get the old data he needs? Crawlers shouldn't know your traffic unless you install the code they give you or verify some other way. Find it to be a crawler causing the problem unlikely unless I misunderstood the problem/question. I sure hope they have a Linux host (most are) and can just check the apache logs while Google Analytics takes a few days to update.

What webhost are you using? Most keep analytics software enabled by default or at least lets you turn it on. (While you wait for Google.) Analytics are a key part to SEO so I use awstats (free), and webalizer. With most hosts if not enabled its as easy as clicking a button.
Depending on your host, you might be able to get the raw log info, but most hosts don't have this option unless you paid for a fancy account which allows root shell access, but maybe not it differs from site to site.
Google Analytics will only show 1 visit if you are the only visitor even if you refresh the page or come pack. It saves your IP address and hardware profile most likely is the method they use. Make sure you change Google Analytics to display as far back as possible.

Hi, you can use a crawler like Screaming Frog SEO Spider to come up with total number of pages with some unique string in the URLs, substitute the URLs that have traffic from these and the rest will be ones with no traffic.
You will have to use the paid version of Screaming Frog SEO Spider if you want to crawl more than 500 pages and here is the section of the user guide that tells you how to do a regex crawl:

I've read many threads online which proves that website speed is a ranking factor. There's a friend whose website scores 44 (slow metric score) on Google Pagespeed Insights. Despite that his website is slow, he outranks me on Google search results. It confuses me that I optimized my website for speed, but my competitor's slow site outperforms me. On Six9ja.com, I did amazing work by getting my target score which is 100 (fast metric score) on Google Pagespeed Insights. Coming to my Google search console tool, they have shown that some of my pages have average scores, while some have slow scores. Google search console tool proves me wrong that none of my pages are fast. Then where did the fast metrics went? Could it be because I added three Adsense Javascript code to all my blog posts? If so, that means that Adsense code is slowing website speed performance despite having an async tag. I tested my blog post speed and I understand that my page speed reduced by 48 due to the 3 Adsense javascript codes added to it. I got 62 (Average metric score). Now, my site speed is=100, then my page speed=62 Does this mean that Google considers page speed rather than site speed as a ranking factor? Google Analytics - Organic Search Traffic & Queries -What caused the huge difference?
Our website traffic dropped a little bit during the last month, but it's getting better now, almost the same with previous period. But our conversion rate dropped by 50% for the last three weeks. What could cause this huge drop in conversion rate? In Google Analytics, I compared the Organic Search Traffic with previous period, the result is similar. How to safely exclude search result pages from Google's index?

I'm wondering what's the best way to prevent/block search result pages from being indexed by Google. The way search works on my site is that search form generates URLs like:
/index.php?blah-blah-search-results-blah I wanted to block everything of that sort, but how do I do it without blocking /index.php ? Thanks in advance and have a great day everyone!0 -
Referral Traffic vs. Campaign Traffic in Google Analytics
I have two sites: a blog and an ecommerce site. The blog funnels people to the ecommerce site. In Analytics I'm seeing declines in referral traffic from the blog to the ecommerce site. During the same time I'm seeing an increase in campaign traffic to the ecommerce site, with most campaign traffic coming from the blog. I believe the increase in campaign traffic is largely a result of simply having installed more tracking links. This leads me to believe that the declines I'm seeing in referral traffic is simply a result of the increase in campaign traffic. In other words, what was once counted and reported as being referral traffic is now being counted and reported as campaign traffic. So my question is this: In Google Analytics is campaign traffic ALSO reported as referral traffic, or is campaign traffic reported separately and not duplicated in referral traffic reports? I'll provide a concrete example to make this more clear in case it isn't: Say site X sends 1000 visits each month to site Y. Say 50 of those visits come from a single link on X. If that link is changed so that campaign Z data info added (via the Google URL Builder), would you expect to then see 950 referral visits each month from site X to site Y plus 50 campaign visits to site Y via new campaign Z, or would you continue to see 1000 referral visits plus the new 50 campaign visits? Many thanks in advance to anyone that can shed some light on this.

Why is Google Analytics showing index.php after every page URL?
Hi, My client's site has GA tracking code gathering correct data on the site, but the pages are listed in GA as having /index.php at the end of every URL, although this does not appear when you visit the site pages. Even if there is a redirect happening for site visitors, shouldn't GA be showing the pages as their redirect destination, i.e. the URL that visitors actually see? Could this discrepancy be adversely affecting my search performance? Time on page: What happens when I open many tabs?
Hello everyone, I was studying Analytics, and checked that the time on page is calculated by the diference of the time you entered the page and when you click to go to another one. But how the time is calculated when I open several links using new tabs in different moments? Does Google counts the last tab? Just a guess... Thanks!
